As with any culture a series of proverbs and common sayings dominate the common diction. Sudanese have numerous proverbs and at times I find myself asking for an explanation. So I decided to start sharing a few that have crossed my path.
اليتبلبل يعوم
rough translation: one who gets wet, should swim
meaning: if one starts something or gets him/herself into something, they might as well see it throught or carry it out fully.
